Exporting Blog

I'm currently trying to figure out how to export the content of my BLOGGER blog over to my WORDPRESS BLOG. here is a link of the best info i've found so far. It's Blogger's directions as to how to save a file of your entire blog! Now, if the internet crashes i may have to worry about the rest of the word ending as we know it, but at least i'll have my blog from the past 2 years. Woot Woot...

Tim & Janelle {Engagement} | Oak Glen, CA

Last Sunday we shot Tim & Janelle's engagement shoot in Oak Glen. It was a beautiful, fall, crisp evening and both new clients were a delight to shoot and get to know! Lawson and i tagged teamed for the hour or two we were there. The lighting was great and i the more i shoot with the lawson, the more i like the security in knowing he's there getting shots i don't always see or cracking the jokes that we don't....always (laugh)....get. lol I'll be posting more on facebook but here are a couple particular favorites:

Judah got his 1st hair cut a few days ago and here are a few snapshots of the process.

He was very tentative as he eyeballed the buzzer.
Lawson started to go in for the kill but...
judah needed to be affirmed the buzzer wasn't going to buzz off his ear.
After being assured the the buzzing noise was not some atrocious machine headed for his brain, he 'relaxed a little'...yes, this is him relaxing...
It all was over within 3 minutes. I felt the threatening mini grapefruit build as i realized he probably wouldn't get his curls back again...i think judah realized the same thing....
we're still coping...
capri suns, however, did take the edge off. good for daddy. he knows how to mend things real' well.

This is kinda a sappy post but...

This is kinda a sappy post but....i really wanted to note how amazing this man has been lately. He's worked SO hard to keep up with a plethora of media projects that God has blessed Juxtapose with these past couple months. Working at home we may get to SEE each other a lot, but there is a fine balance of making sure judah and i stay out of his hair adequately in order to make sure he feels like he's still "At Work." He continues to produce learn new things, try new things, find new things to play with, produce new things...i'm so excited lately to see him grow and find new ways to stretch his art and design abilities! Thank you lawson for being a delight in my life lately!

Pool Time & Judah's Oral Fixation

Judah and i hung out in the backyard a couple days ago and as i was posting a few to document the fun bonding time, i realized that most every picture was of him doing SOMETHING with his mouth. What a weirdo. What if we all were like that even as adults. We said hello by walking up and nawing on each others shoulders. Man, that would be SO entertaining. - lkm

Recent Garage Sale-ing Finds

So i try to go out, as many saturday mornings as i can, for garage sales. In fact, i've gotten a good chunk of christmas shopping half way done! Heck, call me cheap but you wouldn't believe the neat things i've found! Also, it's not off a rack that's over-priced retail and has 10 copies that everybody else is gonna get their loved one. BOO YA! My favorite thing to get stocked up on is frames! As well as cool, clunky costume jewelry for those funky days you feel like goin' all out. This past week i was lookin' for vintage costume material for an upcoming roaring 20s bacherlorette party at the end of the month (more on that later). I found a plethora of long beaded necklaces all for 2 bucks! I think all the ladies will be taken care of that department! - Judah particulary got a kick out of them when we got home!

I also got this neat urban vase for a couple bucks that fits nicely in our library. I stuck some cool maroon purple branches and brown reeds that i got from the 99 cent store in them and its really cool-- oh excuse me, that's AFTER we tried to stick the vase on judah's head. It didn't work out so well.
